  • If you are prescribed 1200 kcal, 1400 kcal, 1600 kcal,1800 kcal, 2000 Kcal, you can consume: 1 half palm sized piece (40g)
  • 5 (1/2 palm sized pieces of fish)
  • 8 small garlic cloves, crushed
  • 4cm piece ginger, crushed
  • 4 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 2 sprigs of coriander leaves, finely chopped for garnish

Dry Spices

  • 8 peppercorns, freshly pounded
  • 1/2 tsp dry mango powder (amchur)
  • 1/2 tsp dry fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
  • Use minimal amount of salt
  1. Clean the fish thoroughly and wipe dry.
  2. Crush ginger, garlic, and pound peppercorns.
  3. Make a marinade of crushed ginger, garlic, peppercorns, turmeric powder, amchur powder, kasuri methi, 2 tsp of olive oil, salt and lemon.
  4. Cover the fish pieces with the marinated mixture and keep it covered for half an hour in a tray or in a fridge. 
  5. Take a heated tawa or griller and brush it with 2 tsp of olive oil. Place fish pieces on it.
  6. Cook on both sides evenly for 10 minutes on low flame.
  7. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
