- 3/4 cup moong sprouts (or)
- 1/2 cup black chana sprouts
- 1 medium cucumber, finely chopped
- 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 4 tsp lemon juice
- Use minimal amount of salt
- Soak the whole moong or black chana overnight in a moist muslin cloth/covered utensil with just enough water. Let it sprout (usually 12-16 hours for moong in summer and 24-30 hours for black chana sprouts).
- Wash the cucumber and tomato thoroughly.
- Peel the cucumber. Finely chop it along with tomato.
- Take a bowl and add sprouts. Add chopped vegetables, lemon juice, salt and cumin powder.
- Mix them well with a ladle. Serve with meals or as a healthy snack.
