- 4 cups water
- 3 tsps tea leaves (black/green)
- 4 tulsi leaves
- 2 pods green cardamom, crushed
- 2 cm piece cinnamon (dalchini), crushed
- 3 whole black peppers (kali mirch), crushed
- Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan or kettle.
- Crush green cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, and tulsi leaves in a mortar pestle into a spice mixture.
- Add crushed spice mixture to the water.
- Once the ingredients boil, add tea leaves and let the mixture simmer on low flame for 2 minutes.
- Strain the tea and enjoy.
