1 cup  

  • 4 cups water
  • 3 tsps black tea leaves
  • 2 cm piece ginger, chopped
  • 4 tsps lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan.
  2. Add grated ginger to the water and let it boil.
  3. Once the mixture boils, add tea leaves and let it simmer on low flame for 2 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea and let it cool till lukewarm. 
  5. Add lemon juice and enjoy.
