1 medium glass

  • 1/3 cup roasted chana powder (sattu)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped                
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 tsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  1. In a bowl or jar, add sattu (roasted chana powder), finely chopped onion, lemon juice, and black salt.
  2. Gradually pour 1 cup of water into the bowl with the sattu mixture.
  3. Stir well to combine until the sattu is completely dissolved and there are no lumps, the consistency should be smooth.
  4. You can adjust the consistency by adding more water.
  5. Add lemon juice and black salt and taste. 
  6. Pour the prepared sattu drink into a glass and serve cold.
