- 1/3 cup roasted chana powder (sattu)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 4 cups water
- 3 tsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/2 tsp black salt
- In a bowl or jar, add sattu (roasted chana powder), finely chopped onion, lemon juice, and black salt.
- Gradually pour 1 cup of water into the bowl with the sattu mixture.
- Stir well to combine until the sattu is completely dissolved and there are no lumps, the consistency should be smooth.
- You can adjust the consistency by adding more water.
- Add lemon juice and black salt and taste.
- Pour the prepared sattu drink into a glass and serve cold.
